I was also very apprehensive about the requirements before I applied, but I think as long as your birth certificate is clear and you have a digitized government ID, they don&#39;t ask for supporting documents like the NBI clearance anymore. But it would be best to have these things handy if ever (and always have photocopies of everything). Too bad I heard NBI changed their system (which was working fine before) and it&#39;s gotten harder to get/renew an NBI clearance. Which reminds me, I need to renew mine.
